"The place was just fantastic, it had everything yet a minimalistic feel to it. The trek up the hill is a bit high but you get used to it. "We truly enjoyed our 3 weeks at Villa Fortuna in Costa Montana near the town of Tarcoles along the Pacific Coast in Costa Rica. Costa Montana is a gated community with 24/7 security. "This house is SO special. The art is stunning. Each room had a different feel and meets a different need. The kitchen was fully stocked for wonderful cooking experiences. The host and the staff were so kind, helpful, and welcoming. The six of us had dance parties, pool parties, dinner parties, lots of quiet time, and connection time. "Beautiful house, nice management, but the house is low maintenance. One of the bedrooms had ants which were not only on the floor, wall, but even in beds! For the 4 nights of our stay the management couldn’t make something treatable to kill insects. My kids should sleep 4 nights with ants, and one night my son was bitten until we figured what’s going on. Pool is big, but water is not filtered. No family games, no pool towels, no washer/dryer in the house. A lot of mosquitoes, we couldn’t use...
