"The start of my stay was very upsetting with a rude security guard who is obsessed with reverse parking. I could speak a reasonable amount of Spanish but my parents can not - he was so mean and angry they did not understand - I was translating to ensure they parked in a way he was happy with. I reported it to the owner but it didn’t seem like the issue was dealt with. "We loved the property. It was quiet and relaxing. The amenities, especially the infinity pool, were better than we could have asked for. The check in and check out instructions were clearly communicated and the property manager responded to any inquiries we had. Being close to Carara national park as well as Jaco made the location ideal. We especially enjoyed all of the wildlife we were able to see from our terrace and from walking around the property. We plan on returning."

"The property seems to look great but the property manager and host was not in communication the entire process leading up to our arrival. We were given no instructions on how to access our unit and was told by Vrbo that our reservation was canceled while we were at the front gate of the building. This is unacceptable and no one should try to make reservations at this property ever!"

"As advertised, this place is gorgeous. We saw an abundance of wildlife and enjoyed the views and sunsets. Some of the beds in the basement need to be replaced, but the master and the main floor beds were comfortable. Loved the separate zones for AC. Could use some better pans and the coffee maker is awful. Make sure to give the names of everyone in your party to them prior to departure from the states.
