I just happened to pick this place after a long day of hiking and traveling, only to discover how nice it was after. Clean cabins with wonderful owners. Close to everything in the nearby towns, but feels like you’re deep in the woods for a retreat. 10/10. "

"Place was cozy & amazing. I love staying at the place. Planning to visit in next year will definitely try to book this place again. Good price & location. Its about 20 min away whiteface mountain around 30 min from Hog George Fall and about 45 to 50 min lake placid. One thing I feel that should be there is a fan on loft area for flow of air. There is bug ceiling fan in living room but not that much helpful. Otherwise everything is perfect."

The kitchen is well-stocked, highly organized, and spotlessly clean, with appliances, cookware, and dishes all in excellent condition. "This was our second time staying at this lovely property. It is comfortable and has many amenities, such as the fire pit and picnic table, as well as Netflix for rainy days. It is a short walk to the town lake, and a short drive to Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid. Highly recommended. "

"This was my first hiking trip in the Adirondacks and this little house was just perfect for my visit. All the comforts of home from the welcoming living room to the nicely stocked kitchen to the beautiful outdoor setting. Very quiet neighborhood in the woods but easy to get to the places I wanted to explore. About a 20 minute drive to Lake Placid. Enjoyed the gas fireplace! Can’t wait to come back next fall because there is so much to do in this area! "
