"What a great, historical building, complete with the old school bell! Lovely, quiet setting with front and back porches. Spacious rooms. Loved the sun room. Loved watching the birds, deer, and chipmunks in the backyard, overlooking the stream and meadow. Perfect property for the full ADK experience!"

"We stayed at the Arnold family home for a few days to hike in the Adirondacks’ fall foliage. The house was beautiful! The perfect location, not too far of a drive from any of our hikes (three brother and Phelps). The layout of the home was perfect for our family of mixed ages (50all the way down to 3 months). We hope to visit again next year! Perhaps a bit longer to get to enjoy the peaceful property around the home."

"With a great kitchen, dining room, two separate living rooms and four bedrooms, this place has plenty of room for a group of 4 to 6 people. The sauna in the yard worked great and small fire pit had seats for four. My only tip would be to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, because it is on route 9. It’s not a very busy road, but you will hear cars on and off all day and night."

"Such a beautiful well maintained property! It was equipped with everything we needed (except food 😆) The beds were extremely comfortable, everything worked as it should, the fireplace was warm & inviting & with plenty of wood to keep those fires burning! The only problem was, you cannot use the dvd player. It is a dvd/vhs player & is too old to work with the newer tv. We brought our Roku so it didn't matter… We will definitely be back! Thank you Rick & Sue!"

"Beautiful little lovers cabin. Everything you would need is there even know we always bring are own bathroom products and coffee it was there. Short drive to Whiteface and lake placid. We really enjoyed the cabin in the winter. We would definitely stay again."

"This cottage was perfect for me and my two friends, though it seems like it'd be ideal for families too with the three decent sized bedrooms, full kitchen and large living area. I was a little skeptical of the small-seeming stove at first, but it got the whole place nice and toasty in no time! "We come to lake placid often and stayed here before. Room service messaging is confusing and the front desk person was arguing about it which did not leave a great impression. Someone should correct the grammar of communication. The facility itself is renovated, decent size rooms. Traveled with our baby and my service dog. "
