"Great historic place with lots of trees and adjacent to a park. Walking distance to town. Spacious rooms and very confortable. The only draw back is the noise from the expressway. We loved the restaurant but noticed the menu is limited. We expected more original entrees. But great regardless. "

"I wish I had gotten the ladies name who checked us in she was wonderful and thru out our stay she was always super friendly and also always cleaning. The only bad thing I can say is we arrived at 2 and were told check in was at 3 and there were no early check ins. I would have understood that if they were cleaning rooms which they were not."

"Talbot Commons is a very charming enclave located in a quiet area within walking distance of Taylor’s shopping district. Each of the rooms are decorated with a trendy western theme. All the rooms are on ground level arranged around a common area, so it could be ideal for a wedding, group, or small family reunion. For me it was an ideal stopover on a trip across Texas. There is no staff on site, so that should be taken into consideration. I didn’t know how to rate “staff and service” because the...
