"We stayed in late Oct 2024. Cabin is older, but very clean. Was a bit chilly in the main room in the evenings (temps in low to mid 40’s); the heaters seemed to have some trouble keeping up. There is a wood burning fireplace in the main room which would have helped, I’m sure, but we were just there in the evenings and didn’t go to the trouble to build a fire. There is an electric fireplace in the bedroom, so it stayed adequately warm at night. The views were beautiful of the sunrises on Lake...

"Was very disappointed in our room. We’ve been staying at the lodge for more than a decade and this room did not have a jacuzzi bath tub, even though every single other time we’ve stayed there we’ve had one. Also, the new floors were very unwelcoming and not cozy/homey. We love everything about the Scandinavian lodge otherwise, we’re just very disappointed in that particular room. No outlets on the sides of the bed to charge phones. "

"The room was very clean and large. The lake view from the room was spectacular! Everything that was on the internet describing the property was true. The staff was very friendly and providing extra towels when asked. My husband and I had a wonderful weekend and will stay here again the next time we are in Door County!"
