"First things first—the age of this property showed. Everything felt dated and the hallways were tired, but it was generally clean. However, I did find cobwebs above the tub and sofa. Towels/sheets were clean and felt like generic hotel linens and the bed was perfectly acceptable, so no surprises good or bad there. The shower head was a little low, but the water got hot quickly and had good pressure.The view was amazing! I'm sure it being winter helped, but I loved being able to wake up and see the frozen lake! The hot tub down the hall was very hot and clean, which was great after a day exploring the state parks nearby. At off-season rates this was a great value."

"We had a wonderful time. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of the water. Staff was friendly. We have stayed at a few other places in Sturgeon Bay but Bridgeport is our favorite. We book our stay for January and have stayed here 6 times in the last 10 years. My husband and I are in our 60's and are accustomed to using the stairs and seldom use an elevator. There is one elevator and the halls are long. Our favorite room is at the far end of the hall so there is a fair amount of walking for us. Most of our favorite restaurants are in walking distance. Sonny's Pizza is next door. Get Real is 2 blocks away. This trip we tried the new Gloria's Mexican Restaurant, also 2 blocks away, we enjoyed our lunch. We also like to walk across the bridge to visit the Starboard Brewing Company and Trattoria Dal Santo, yum. Inn at Cedar Crossing also very good. Looking forward to next January!"
