"My family and I had a wonderful time at the Lily Bay Lodge. Just what we needed to kick off the cozy season. Mitch went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Everything we needed to enjoy the weekend was provided. Even when we left a cable at home, for one of our devices, Mitch was more than willing to run out and grab it for us. Great hosts and a great place to unwind. We hope to be back again soon. Thanks again Mitch! "

"This lodge is huge, with plenty of beds. At the same time, the open areas are cozy, an a place where you want to spend time with family. The furniture is comfortable, and very nice. There are kitchen areas on all three levels! There is also a nice game room. The host was super easy to deal with.The Honey Dew Lodge was even nicer than the listing."

"We really enjoyed our time at Starkhaus! It is an easy walk or very short drive into Sister Bay, where you can enjoy the beach, marina, restaurants, and shops. It is also an easy drive to Newport State Park, Ellison Bay, Bailey's Harbor, etc. In short, we were able to kayak, hike, see the Cana Island Lighthouse, visit the Ridges Sanctuary, etc. within only a 15-20 minute drive. "Such a great place! Everything was there we needed and great care had been taken to make the place beautiful and inviting. Would stay again for sure!! "

"We stayed in late Oct 2024. Cabin is older, but very clean. Was a bit chilly in the main room in the evenings (temps in low to mid 40’s); the heaters seemed to have some trouble keeping up. There is a wood burning fireplace in the main room which would have helped, I’m sure, but we were just there in the evenings and didn’t go to the trouble to build a fire. There is an electric fireplace in the bedroom, so it stayed adequately warm at night. The views were beautiful of the sunrises on Lake...

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the access to the shoreline. We had an issue with the septic alarm going off and had to call the property manager. He answered right away and told us how to silence the alarm. We appreciated the quick response. My only suggestion would be updating the oven. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The house was perfect for our family. Everyone was able to have their own room and bed. Plenty of room to eat. Liked how it was so open - between the living room, kitchen and dining room area. Having the backyard fenced in was nice to have with 2 little ones. The house was stocked with everything that we needed. The downside to the house rental was the flies. There were flies everywhere so when we were cooking, or eating, and they were flying all around, it was kind of gross. "

"My wife and I were looking forward to this weekend getaway. A very cozy well tastefully decorated cabin. The Christmas tree was a pleasant surprise. Eack morning we had a hot breakfast delivered and a couple of tastefull chocolate chip cookies were on a plate for us when we came back from our daily activities. "Location to get around Door County is great. We hiked at several of the main parks around Door County, two of them walking distance from this cabin - Whitefish Dunes State Park and Cave Point Park (which was our favorite). Beautiful sunrises. Great beach - feels like you are at the ocean. The place itself is small and rustic. It’s definitely showing its age, but it had all the amenities you needed (and a lot of great memories for the family). Hiost was great too. We enjoyed our weekend...
