"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Gioia (2 adults, 1 child). Riccardo was a fantastic host, even leaving us a delicious bottle of wine to welcome us to the villa. The villa itself was spotless with everything we needed. We particularly loved the pool. It was a short walk to lovely beaches and has a kids playground just outside. I would absolutely recommend this property."

"Wir haben in dem Haus acht Tage verbracht und hatten eine rund um tolle Zeit. Der Gastgeber ist aufmerksam und zuvorkommend und zu jederzeit erreichbar. Das Haus war geräumig gut ausgestattet, und der Pool war ein Highlight. Für die Sauberkeit würden wir mehr als fünf Sterne geben. "We enjoyed our stay in the area. Lots of beautiful countryside and the sea in the distance. the house was great for two couples. You should be aware that a car is essential as there is nothing within walking distance. The coast is 10km down hairpin bends, hence the view! Avola and the surrounding area is lovely, much to see and many beautiful towns and villages. The need to get in the car everytime is a disadvantage, especially in the evenings."

"Nous avons passé 17 jours chez Michele et Angela qui sont vraiment très accueillants et facilitent toutes les démarches et tracas. Michele vous fera découvrir son huile d'olive, les figues de Barbarie toutes préparées etc. Le logement est bien situé et permet de visiter la région facilement, bien entretenu avec évidemment la piscine qui est appréciable pour se rafraîchir. "I had been looking at several villas in the area, but when I saw this one, I knew it was the one I wanted, however in the Vrbo brochure it says it is a short walk to the church, but it is a 15 minute drive, apart from that it looked good. On arrival I was greeted by Salvo who was lovely, his English was not great, but I am trying to learn Italian so it was good practice for me. The villa was even better than it looked. A good size pool along with excellent accommodation, and plenty of Bathrooms...
