"Etwas außerhalb von Modica auf einem ehemaligen Bauernhof gibt es mehrere einzelne Ferienwohnungen. Wir bewohnten die Geräumigste mit großem, separaten Schlafzimmer und einem schönen neuen Bad mit großer Dusche. Das Wohnzimmer mit Küchenzeile war sehr bequem und hatte viel Charme. Die Eigentümerin Giovanna begrüßte uns sehr herzlich und wir lernten auch sofort den freundlichen Dalmatiner Leo kennen, der neugierig aber niemals aufdringlich war. "Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Salvatore. La maison donne sur une belle plage de sable fin pas très fréquentée. Si la chaleur vous accable la mer est là pour vous rafraîchir. L'accueil de Salvatore a été exceptionnel, avec des produits délicieux, surtout un grand merci pour sa prévenance et sa disponibilité (nous sommes arrivés trés tard). C'est un bel endroit pour visiter la Sicile d'Agrigente à l'Etna"

"We had - 14 of us, 11 adults three children - a really good week at Borgo Alto. The location is stunning and the space is great. As a former hotel, the accommodation is a bit odd for a big family group - with separate rooms in different buildings, but it worked well. The only thing it lacks is a comfortable lounge area. There is a dining room, but mainly you have to sit in hard chairs. But - even in the last week of October - we were able to spend most of our time outside. The setting of which...

"Only one item to be aware of, the charge for electricity will be at least €150 per week. I assume that this was because the filtration on the swimming pool was running perhaps 18 hours a day. We visited in mid-September and only used the air conditioning for a couple of hours a day for less than half of our stay, so that wasn’t the issue. Not a complaint, the property is outstanding value for money, just something to factor in."

"I had been looking at several villas in the area, but when I saw this one, I knew it was the one I wanted, however in the Vrbo brochure it says it is a short walk to the church, but it is a 15 minute drive, apart from that it looked good. On arrival I was greeted by Salvo who was lovely, his English was not great, but I am trying to learn Italian so it was good practice for me. The villa was even better than it looked. A good size pool along with excellent accommodation, and plenty of Bathrooms...

"We had a great time at the house of Michele. First of all, the house is perfectly located close to the highway, the city of Ispica, the beach, etc. As it is in the middle of an old farm, it is at the same time quite and green. The house itself is fully equipment, in very good condition and perfect for a family. Our son loved the bed "in the wardrobe". The highlight is the huge pool in best condition. All this is already worth 5 stars, but really, the owner Michele is then worth a six one:...
