"Our family (two adults and three children) stayed at Le Dune Residence for a week in June 2017. Despite arriving at midnight, we received a warm welcome from the owner. The apartment was equipped with a fridge, freezer, cooker, television, shower, balcony and air conditioners in both bedrooms. There was a communal washing machine and brick pizza oven. "The house is spacious and comfortable, situated in a quiet but convenient area. Avola is 5 minutes away, the motorway linking Messina, Catania, Siracusa and Gela is also a few minutes drive from the house.A car is essential. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. "The beach was nice. It was difficult to get to. You had to walk a distance on a very busy street with no sidewalks. Nothing was in walking distance ie. Grocery stores, restaurants. Definitely need a vehicle to get around. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. I do have a major issue that has not been resolved. That has left a very bad impression of the host/owner."
