"This is a very nice property ideal for a large family or maybe 3 couples. Three fishermen cottages from the mid-1700s have been converted to make this spectacular house with incredible views over the Firth of Forth. It has been tastefully renovated and is well equipped. We were there with 7 people, two children 4 & 7, one young adult, and two couples. It worked very well for us. The only slightly negative thing I had to say was the loft room has a toilet but no shower and the kitchen area was...

"We stayed 4 nights , the accommodation was excellent and just as described. The hot tub was enjoyed by the children, even in the inclement weather! Communication before and during our stay with Sue, the host was also excellent, and we were very appreciative of the board games she loaned for us to play with the children! "Arrived to a clean beautiful home with amazing views of the sea. We were lucky to have clear sunny weather and watched the sunrise with our coffee every morning from the balcony. At night the street noise was noticeable but given college students returning and the weather it was not completely unexpected. "Cowper’s Close was a GEM. Suited our family trip (ages newborn to 70s) perfectly. Charm city but also completely comfortable, and the location could not be better. Wonderful to have multiple living spaces (& even a backyard!) for that many people, and the kitchen was the best-equipped of any rental we’ve done. We hope to be back someday….soon!"

"We had a fab time in this property. Beautiful house over 3 floors making the best of the stunning views and sunsets. Ideally located for visiting that part of the East Coast. House has everything you need, the one thing that impressed all of us (simple as it may be) they had plug points next to all the mirrors in the bedrooms . Ideal for 6 ladies looking to get ready at the one time. Would highly recommend. We will be returning "

"Check in process is poor. We booked two bedrooms with one room having two double beds according to Expedia advertising and selection at the time of booking. We were never told what room number assigned to us and on Apple Wallet upon checking in online said room 4-5. When arrived, it took us 1 hour to find out that we were put in room 20 with only two king beds and on the third floor. NO elevators. This has never been stated on the website and at the time of booking. We had many heavy luggage....
