I highly recommended if you want to stay in Kabukicho. Avoid Golden Gai and the Nigerians at all costs. Otherwise, you'll have fun. Understand what it is before you go. High tourist area. Still worth it."

Safe area and very close to the rail system with a large train station. Breakfast was great every day and the staff is fantastic. On site laundry facilities. No complaints. "

"I absolutely loved my stay at the Granbell in Shinjuku. I stayed in a15th floor room with a mini kitchen and a separate tub with an amazing view. The buffet style breakfast had everything you could think to include and tasted great. It's just walking minutes from the Golden Gai and the Shinjuku Tower. Every encounter with hotel personnel was exceptional. "

"Its right at Shinjuku JR station. Just exit from the South Gate and walk down the large pavement from eggslut to starbucks and shake shack. The hotel provides trolleys for our luggages. There is no bottled water, but you can have a free flow from the water dispenser at every level near the elevator. There is also an ice dispenser. The airport limousine bus comes directly to the hotel. Its so convenient. There is Takashimaya and Tokyu Hands just opposite the hotel, no need to cross any road..just a wide pavement/bridge, which u can access from level 2 of the hotel. Its very suitable for those with mobility issues. "
