"Great location and very modern. I like a traditional feel more than the modern but it had everything one needed. However, there was less than 1 role of toilet paper between both bathrooms combined and no soap or shampoo, napkins, paper towels, dish brushes or clothes wash so come prepared. Also, the garbage outside was filled to overflowing before we arrived and we were unable to clean up our kitchen. Apparently, per the neighbor, this is an ongoing problem. The beds were a little uncomfortable....

"The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...

"We stayed with grandparents and niece and nephew for a week of exploring Northumberland. The house is located in a beautiful spot with views to the harbour and to Warkworth Castle. "The overall experience at the Garden Rooms was good. We would return, though there were a few things which disappointed us. The large sliding doors to the outside were very difficult to open.
