"Fantastic large top floor bedroom-no good for guests with mobility issues as 49 steps to the room! Lovely and spacious with free standing bath and separate shower. Cosy balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast was first class although menu a bit confusing ie-were you allowed cereal as well as or instead of a cooked breakfast. "We stayed here as a couple but also as part of a larger family group, including my niece and nephew (12 and 8 respectively). Our room was the Illingworth room. It was huge, facing out across the road to the lovely old church. Road noise was minimal and the bed extremely comfy with good pillows which were not too soft, perfect for us. We slept well.
