"Enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay at the Mercure Fairfield Manor Hotel. Warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Very straightforward check-in and then to our room which was spacious and everything to our liking. We ate evening dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Breakfast in the a.m was also excellent ... So many choices to suit everyones tastes. Staff were very professional and friendly. We would definitely visit again if staying over in York. Ideally placed geographically being only about a 12 min drive to York city parking near the Minster. We rated our vist 5 out of 5 stars. "
