"The house was very clean and comfortable. The host was very attentive and very kind to allow us an early check in when there was inclement weather on the day of arrival. Our only complaint is that the whole time during our stay, the lift for the slope we were on was closed so we had to hike up the slope to get back to the house. I even talked to the resort and they said they don’t turn that slope on if there are not enough people at the resort as it is too expensive to operate. I hope the...

"Location! Location! Location! This cabin is perfect for a family ski trip. It’s small (1200ish sq/ft) but you’re not there for the house. You’re there for the slopes! The house is located about 150 yards from the bottom of a blue run. We made the walk with a 12 year old and 9 year old in full ski equipment. THERE IS A SMALL CREEK YOU HAVE TO CROSS. "Ski Roost has a wonderful view from the deck and is equipped with little touches that make for a wonderful stay. There were some yard games and sharpies to decorate rocks on the deck, the retro arcade game was a huge hit with the kids and adults, and the deck fire pit gave warmth while we took in the view in the morning and evening. "Our family of six had a wonderful time at The Beech Barn. Location, layout and amenities are great. We had plenty of comfy sleeping space and bathroom access. Although skiing conditions weren’t ideal, we enjoyed playing games and watching movies. The fireplace added that extra touch of coziness. "
