"Pros: the location is quiet and great for a slower pace. There is a convenience store 2 minutes walk and the train station is about 4min walk. There are restaurants around the neighborhood, bars, and shopping. Cons: No washcloths, no space in room for suitcases, no seating or chairs in room, no staff available just a phone number, no changing of linen during stay or cleaning during stay (we stayed 6 days). There are clean towels available daily which was a plus and a full length mirror. ...

"It was my first time staying at a hostel and I was so pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of my bunk and shower/ bathroom areas. The staff are lovely and the hostel itself is very close to Oji station and dining options. Would definitely stay here again when I return to Tokyo."

"We stayed in a 2-bed room for 10 nights. You should expect the bathroom to be small, but it has everything we needed. The hotel has a common area kitchen, which we didn't use much, but also the room itself had a little fridge and a table. There is a laundromat literally across the street if you need to do laundry. The staff was SO nice the entire time!!! We really enjoyed our stay here while in Japan!"

"Staff was nice but don't speak English. However it's a shared common restroom area by a few guests rooms, the room was small but okay comfortable, the lightings in the room didn't work well at all, it's hard to get service there. I wouldn't recommend this place although it's conveniently located only 18 minutes of walking to the area for the fireworks festival. The WiFi wasn't straightforward either. Not working well. "My 2 nights stay was terrible because I had a very big quarrel with another guest; was allotted a bed in the female room by a woman named Nana;the first night was fine but on the second night, came back from late night work, was tired and I just needed a good night sleep but as I went to my allotted bed,a Chinese guest came in and started shouting and screaming loudly at me,saying that was her bed;there was no staff member to solve the issue; had the worst experience in my entire life"

"It felt like a home away from home. Located in a charming small town area minutes from bustling Ikebukuro by train, you can get a glimpse of daily life in residential Tokyo. I stayed in the bunk bed room on the upper floor. It was a comfy bed and it never got uncomfortable, though I wasn't sure whether the light in the room is supposed to be left on or not. "It's cool how they're complete with a mini stove, fridge, microwave and other amenities even though they're price is really cheap. There's a lot of good places to eat around the area and a 7/11 and mini grocery store beside it."
