"Went in May. Bunk was warm but not unbearable, although had no need for the quilt. I found the mattress quite comfortable, and although the compartment was small I was able to move around inside comfortably. Noise does travel easily between adjacent compartments for those easily disturbed. I fear that on one heavy-drinking night I may have been the snoring disturbance, so bear this in mind. "Thr staff is extremely nice and helpful. Free coffee at all times. The rooms are cozy, cute and clean but tight for those with big luggages. Showers on all the floors except on the 2nd. Reception area needs renovation. 4mn walk from the metro station. At least 2 convenient stores are very close, some restaurants as well if you don't feel like taking a transportation. Thank you Sun for your kindness and professionalism. All other staff were very welcoming, courteous and polite. "

"One of the better hostels in Tokyo, for the price I payed via Expedia this was a steal. The surrounding area is beautiful with a lot to explore, a 7/11 and Family Mart are located near the hostel and very walkable. The only small issue I had during my stay was the bed and the size of the room, as a 186 cm person could barely fit in the bed and the room was so small that I could even open my luggage on the ground. Other than the room my stay was great and I would greatly recommend to stay here...

"9.5/10 - perfect place that is outside of the city's hustle and bustle but close to one of the oldest temples in Japan. You can easily access the train and Nakamise - dori street. I did the shared room but they have private room options. Linens were white and very clean spaces. "
