It was a quick walk down to the seafront and a handy Lidli was close by. We enjoyed the hot tub and the views out to sea. Some of the decor is a little tired but didn’t detract from our stay. "We had a short break for 2 nights over christmas day, There was a Christmas tree and lights put up for us as well as some welcome gifts left for our arrival. The lodge was spotless, well equipped and warm! There was 6 of us including my 83year old nan who has mobility issues and there was no problems at all The view was fab you could hear the church bells in the distance as well as one morning you could hear the wolves howling from the nearby zoo! "A great place to stay with lots of space. We were a group of 3 generations and we fitted in perfectly. Easy walk into Ilfracombe, which had plenty to see and do. Lovely walks and pubs. We could easily park on the road, even during half term holidays. Nice drive to many places. A lovely place to stay."

"This really is a superb, spacious property. We were a family group of eight plus Labrador staying for Christmas and couldn't have asked for more. The kitchen was well equipped, and the oven perfectly sized to cook Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. "The house is exactly as in the pictures, it is not sumptuous 5 star accommodation but it is very clean and spacious. The main selling point is the location, directly across from the beach, you can hear the ocean in every room..lovely It is on a very busy road to the beach car park so not very private but if you like people watching this is a great spot."

"This property was the perfect weekend trip away, with it being fairly modern. The owner had left some essential products which was a lovely touch, we were able to check in early which was perfect as we had arrived a lot earlier than expected. We was blown away with how nice is was and how spacious it was. The parking out the front was okay but found it hard during the week day with two cars. On my google maps it took us to another place but it is on the main road to your left going up the hill....
