"The property is in a good location (a path provides a short walk to Combesgate Beach) with a wonderful views of Woolacombe Bay. The property is eco-friendly, with solar panels to provide energy. We found the property was comfortable, roomy and well supplied in all areas. It did take us a little time to get used to the induction stovetop the first night. Johnny was friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our week, and would like to return there again!"

"Really appreciated the ramped access, the lodge is at one level. Suited us well as our son has limited mobility. Co-op just down the lane was great, we went everyday. We had a lot of rain but the terrace seating must be lovely in the summer. We still appreciated the incredible views from there, we just didn’t sit out. There were four of us staying and the living area was very comfortable."

"A great place for the 9 of us to come together from across the south of the UK to have a 56th & a 50th Birthday celebration. Bringing two side of the Family together with plenty to do on the local beaches for the surfers, whilst at the same time having something for the elders of the group and all those in between, meant it was the perfect place to stay."

"Three generations stayed here and all loved it. My 5 year old grandson was amazed at the “upside down” house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Location was good for getting around. Very peaceful. The basket of goodies we received on arrival was lovely. Would definitely stay here again."

"Our party of four adults, two seniors and three children were looking forward to our holiday, and we were not disappointed! The house was spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay with plenty of parking close to the house. Ilfracombe is a lovely area, with Tunnels Beach being a must to visit for a small fee! Plenty of great places to eat, Hip and Pistol do great food at a very reasonable price.
