"Received check in instructions immediately following booking but had to wait until noon on the day of check-in for security code to entrance gates. Self Check-in. "A lovely little cottage in a beautiful setting. We only found out that there was no wifi once we had booked. This also meant that there was no Smart TV as advertised. The listing should state clearly that there is no WIFI. Also the information pack in the cottage gave no instructions regarding the rubbish bins. We had to ask one of the residents about this and then had to find a key for the locked bin! The fridge was very small which restricted our catering. We also felt it was shame that we...

"Very friendly staff and a great location for what we needed! I was doing Brighton Marathon so was a good distance from the start and finish lines with loads of places to eat leading up to the event! The room were great and had all I needed for the weekend! I will be staying again! :-)"

Clean, safe, friendly hotel

"Nice hotel, pleasant clean room with a great view, friendly, helpful staff, and good buffet breakfast. It's not the closest hotel to Gatwick, but is only about a 10-minute taxi ride away, so it's definitely manageable. I would stay there again."

" The hotel is nice and clean, with an excellent location—everything you need is close by, and there's a car park conveniently located right across the street. Breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and very welcoming, and the housekeeping was top-notch. I also appreciated the unlimited complimentary amenities. I’ll definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again. "

"Quite difficult to find the main entrance but apart from that enjoyed staying here. Had a great view of the marina from our room and found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is well situated with a number of restaurants/cafes nearby and free parking in Brighton is very unusual! Only downside if you could call it that is it’s about 2 miles from the centre of Brighton. However I’d certainly recommend it."

"It's a bit of a walk but the Six Bells is a great pub to visit. Quaint and historic with really good food. Staff there is good too. There's an old church and a beautiful park with walking trails as well. The location has easy options to get to the airport and train. Food at the hotel is excellent too."

Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront

Excellent stay

"Went with a friend for overnight stay in Brighton. The parking was easy (under the hotel); the staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated at the edge of the Lanes, lots of good restaurants nearby, it is on the sea front so lovely walks along the Promenade. The pier is just over the road. The swimming pool is small. Breakfast is really good - complete with someone cooking fresh pancakes and omelettes. "
