"My wife and I frequent the Texas Hill Country and look for quiet cabins in remote areas. This one was perfect for us. The cabin is well maintained, clean, and lacking in nothing. The location was remote, quiet, and literally on the river. It is hard to access the water because of the steep river bank. There is a large rope provided to stabilize your climb down and back up. Not a problem for us able-bodied old folks. Kids would love it. We found our stay to quite enjoyable and look...

"This cabin was bright and fresh looking. One of the cleanest I have been in on my travels through the hill country. We opted for the bedding, towels and extras for additional fee, which was well worth it. I wish I had remembered to bring a couple of camping chairs to set on while watching a movie when it was to cold to hike. The kitchen had all we needed to cook. A short distance trail led to the waterside that looked awesome for swimming. The host was excellent. About 35 miles to Lost Maples...

"It was so much more than I could have imagined. The location is ideal for either GSP or LM and the amenities were excellent. We spent most of the day time at the parks, but our evenings consisted of relaxing at the getaway. Dinner on the outdoor charcoal grill was amazing and the fire pit was a perfect ambiance for the nighttime hill country. I should also mention breakfast on the stove with a light fire going outside was mint. Would definitely recommend for a secluded getaway. "

"The cabin was everything we needed for a weekend getaway! Directly in between Lost Maples & Garner, it allowed us easily visit both parks. The front porch had a wonderful view of the hills to the east while the back porch had a covered area with so many cardinals - and even a few deer came by at sunset. The inside of the cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We can’t wait to go back!"

" Our family enjoyed staying here. Easy check in, nice location. The cabin had everything needed to make our stay easy. We were able to cook and even bake brownies. maybe a rice cooker would be nice, it would make cooking rice easier. We enjoyed sitting in the back yard. Close to garner sate park and lost maples park. I would recommend staying here. "

"The location is perfect for family gatherings by the river, including beautiful rapids on the Guadalupe River, and lots of other amenities in the campground. The cabin was in pristine condition upon arrival and set up for extended stays, if necessary. The entire property is well maintained and can accommodate large groups staying in separate cabins. We will definitely be returning soon!"

"Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. The water was perfect. Since we are all Epic swimmers even the 4-year-old and a 3-year-old enjoyed jumping off the floating dock it was perfect. The brought our own patio lights for the patio we hung them and it was perfect for evening games outside on the patio. Like I said the place could use a little upkeep and maintenance But all in all it was a wonderful place to spend a long weekend "
