"While on a snowmobile trip from Canada down into MN we had the good fortune to book a stay at this BEAUTIFUL cabin right on the lake. It was spacious, super clean, warm, comfortable and very well appointed. Nick, the owner, was great to work with and the whole process was as easy as it could be. We’ll definitely be back next year!! …I only wish we would of stayed longer so we could have used the beautiful sauna!"

"We enjoyed our short stay at the Cozy Northwoods Cabin. The house perfect for our weekend getaway to Ely. House was just as described. The owner was nearby but we still felt like we had a private getaway. There were 5 deer out the backyard in the morning. Very peaceful."

"Really great location on a pretty quiet lake. Local bar has great food including Saturday night prime rib. Beds comfy. Kitchen well stocked. Common space isn’t large but very well laid out to make it comfortable for a family of four. Outside space is wonderful with good privacy and Great Lake views. Roughly 50 minutes to the Superior shore and all the parks. You really feel like you’re away from it all. "

"We came up to enjoy a nice quiet weekend away and this place delivered. It snowed all day Saturday adding to the beauty of this place. Enjoyed some nice hikes including a beautiful one under the stars. If you don’t mind a saw dust potty and cooking outside (which we don’t) this place is for you. "The location of this property is gorgeous and the home is reasonably comfortable. If you want a multi-generational group to gather here the owners need to address window coverings, especially in the one bathroom that has a shower that does not leak through the floor into the kitchen. Having grandchildren playing on the deck, with sliding glass door viewing into the shower, is not ideal. We read the reviews and brought our own curtain to cover the window. We left them behind so maybe the owner...

"Outstanding experience with owners and the property. We had originally reserved a smaller cabin but they had begun closing it up for the winter and generously gave us a larger space for same price. Cabin was very clean and came with everything needed for our four night fishing trip. We were very pleased with our stay and will be reserving next year too.
