Biwabik Bunkhouse near Giants' Ridge

Beautiful lake home on Embarrass Lake, 5 miles to one of the premiere ski and golf resorts in Minnesota, (the Quarry and Legend) and just over 60 miles north of Downtown Duluth. Almost 3600 square feet with nearly 200' of beautiful and sandy lake shore with a gorgeous swimming beach with two docks and a boathouse. Pontoon boat on site is available for rental, as well!

Gaze at the stars from the beautiful wrap-around deck. Spend the day relaxing in the shallow sandy water. Enjoy the evening with a bonfire on the beach shore, playing bags from the walkout basement, with tons of activities to keep the family busy: playground, dartboard, Air hockey table, Shuffleboard table, pac-man video games, pellet smoker/grill, foosball, sauna, wet bar, TV's, Internet, and too many other things to list!

Bonfires, star gazing, wildlife, 1000's of acres of public land, OHV/ATV Trails, Paved biking trails, and Giants' Ridge (skiing, snowshoeing, golf, top notch restaurant, ....) being a stones throw from the property... We truly believe there is something for everyone at this beautiful retreat.

Great family space!
We had a great time at the Biwabik Bunkhouse! It's conveniently located with easy access to town and Giant's Ridge. The dining area is large, and we loved using the huge gated deck. The views were great, and we enjoyed using the provided kayaks. The hosts were really clear and helpful before we arrived for our stay, which was really a perk! We'd definitely stay again.

Great place. Lots of amenities inside this large house. We used them as the Embarrass river had risen lake water levels too high and we had wake restrictions in place. Everyone in the group was very impressed how nice and well furnished this place was. Two thumbs up.

Perfect lake getaway!
Well appointed property, and quiet corner of the lake made for simply a splendid time for my family and I. Lots to do, which kept our teenage sons very busy. Nice kitchen to cook in, and Traeger-like BBQ to grill on. Comfy and abundant beds!

Perfect Location for Giant's Ridge!
We had a crew from a few places over Minnesota meet up for a race weekend at Giant's Ridge. We were able to all get to spend some much needed time together to catch up, all while having plenty of room for gear and being less than 10 minutes from the hill. Had a wonderful family vacation. Grandkids enjoyed the play equipment and all enjoyed the lily pad. Lake was shallow and had a sandy bottom. Pontoon was great for touring the lake and anchoring near the sand bar for swimming. House was perfect for family. Little ones especially enjoyed PacMan!

The house is beautiful and the location is great. We skied Giant's Ridge and it's less than 10 minutes away. The house is a great fit for families and the communication with the property manager was absolutely excellent! They really want you to have a good experience and are very responsive. We picked this cabin as it was close to Giants Ridge and we couldn't have been happier with the location. Only about 6 minutes away from Giants Ridge. Overall House was great. The upstairs was a nice chill area by the fireplace. While downstairs was a fun hangout spot with the TV and game room along with a bar area and sauna! Overall was a great experience. Hopefully we can make it back again!

Had a wonderful stay at this house. Lots to do inside and out, which was great because a few days the weather was not great. Ended up having a ping pong and air hockey tournament. Kids had fun fishing, swimming, and hunting for crawfish. They let us bring our dogs who also enjoyed taking evening pontoon rides and swimming. Again, this was house is amazing.

Loved this place! Kitchen/dining was perfect for our family style meals (and it was fully stocked with everything we needed). So many things for the kids to do from catching crawfish out of the lake to the little playset, to shuffle board and air hockey. Swimming off the dock was great. View from the deck is awesome. Really great place for all 18 of us!
