"I loved the Railroad Inn! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas! The walls were “thin” because you could hear everyone walking down the hallway and opening and closing of doors, And the street traffic outside was a little noisy. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too big, my head felt like it was way up high, just too firm, couldn’t get comfortable. Everything was very clean and well appointed. "

"I came by train and taxi (not by car) and I wished I had known that the diner and the bar would be closed on Sunday and Monday, which were the days I was there. There are no dining options in walking distance, which is expected in these areas where everyone drives. "This is our go to hotel when travelling through Albany. The hotel is beautiful with very comfortable rooms. The staff is exceptionally friendly and willing to assist with any needs.
