"The rooms were far from the water, not like to picture. The living space was nice but the beds were very uncomfortable, we didn't even stay our second booked night. The room was very cold and drafty, and the thermostat was programed to 68 degrees and we very cold, it did not warm well. It didn't even come with towels! We had to go and buy our own. We wanted to rent snowmobiles and was told it was too warm, it was 35 degrees outside! When we asked around they said that it was not true, plus...

"Staff very friendly. Nice rooms, firm mattress. Lakeside view. The chlorine was so strong in the hot tub we couldn’t stay in it. It burned our eyes and no we did not go under water. The fridge was only mildly cold. I couldn’t find the plastic bags for lining the ice bucket. The breakfast was all carb/sugar. "

"Room was nice but smoke alarm was not present and open wires were protruding from the wall. The door to the motel room hallway was never secured. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The lobby had a mildew smell to it. Continental breakfast was limited to cereal, bagels, bread, peanut butter, jelly-no butter. Fruit available. Coffee was in the lobby. I understand there are new owners who are making changes."
