"I highly recommend this hotel! Checking in and out was easy. The staff was very friendly! My suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I was traveling alone, but the suite would have been great for a family. My family of 5 used to travel a lot; I wish every hotel room we'd ever stayed in had been this good! The king bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of furniture, yet enough space for additional items (such as a portable crib or playpen). The kitchen was nice. I was able to purchase food for my 3-day stay, instead of having to eat out. I did hear trains go by several times during the day, but I didn't hear them at night. I'm not sure if that was because they didn't run at night, or I couldn't hear them because I use white noise when I sleep. If I am ever in Petersburg again, I will not hesitate to book Stay-Over Suites. "

"Love this property! We have stayed there 12-14 times and it has always been a wonderful experience. The property is quiet and relaxing. A great place to unwind. Close to all of the historic sites. Very clean. Staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend if you're staying in the area."

Cobblestone street with low traffic, a wonderful bookstore nearby and a fabulous cafe--the Urban Farmer, for sipping coffee, getting a sandwich practically across the street. Staff were upbeat, professional and personable. I'd return."
