The room overlooks the garden, some car parking and partial view of a road from the village. Out of season this room was lovely and quiet and suited my needs. "A very pleasant stay. Traditional pub with excellent food and very well appointed rooms. Staff incredible helpful whilst location is in the middle of it!! Close to Chatsworth and plenty of local walks!!!!!!"

"We stayed during a major snowstorm that shut down the roads and left the Inn under-staffed: but the food was still excellent, the service was wonderful, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had an excellent stay, The chef is brilliant and the owners are both very friendly and very helpful. "A lovely little hut in a perfect location. Check out time is 9am so if we were to return, I think it would have to be for a minimum of two nights as 9am is pretty early so we didn’t even have time for breakfast before we had to clean up and check out. Considering the price and the small space, I think a complimentary addition of bits in the fridge would be good. Lots of places I’ve visited for the same price (and less!) on Vrbo have added in fresh bread, butter, orange juice and even Prosecco...

"The room was as you would expect for the money. The major disappointment was the lack of a blind for the skylight which meant the room was very light until quite late and then again from early, a nightmare for trying to get children to sleep."
