"Although the hotel seems to be in a secluded area, it was close to the subway. The closest subway station was in a convenient location - close to the airport and other scenic places I visited. The breakfast buffet was great and the gym was also very nice - had most of the equipment I needed for my workouts. I used the laundry facilities, which was also very easy to use. "The hotel was about a 15 minute walk from two different subway lines and the main shopping area of the city. Getting from the airport was simple with a subway line direct from the airport to the city center. The hotel was clean with an ample selection of foods at their breakfast buffet. They tried with service but if you don’t speak Chinese it’s hard. "

"The hotel has big clean rooms with comfy beds. AC works well and double glazed windows keeps sound out. Close to two metro stations, pedestrian streets, restaurants and bars. The breakfast buffet has a large selection of Western and Asian choices, and is so filing you can skip lunch! Some staff speak some littke English, the rest are happy to use a translation app."

"The hotel is for backpackers who usually stay at Hostel or 1 or 2 star hotels. This is not a hotel for business travelers - no desk. Plumbing issues - clogged drain in the sink. The room had a terrible odor - like there was some type of mold/flooding. The temperature control is limited to 22c. Toilet seats are strange. The common area is not really nice - also had a strange smell, and plastic bags of stuff strawn about behind the desk. The area is right in the middle of a busy market...

"We stayed at Grand Park Kunming for a little over one week. Its clean, safe and convenient for our family. The only concern that we have is the Non smoking room we stayed in still has very strong smoking smell. Other than that, we have enjoyed our stay in the Hotel."
