"Room was spacious and classically furnished. Some of the furniture, drapery, and lobby finishes were a bit worn, but to be expected in an older, historic hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating and spoke English which made check-in and out easier. I would stay at this hotel again. "

"Horrible experience. Apparently we didn't get there in their timely manner because they gave our room away. This was after we paid $120 to get there from Pudong airport. Then had to pay an additional $100 to get to the Hongqiao airport after not having a room. DO NOT STAY HERE! Not only was that horrible enough it is a shady set up."

"This hotel shouldn't even be on Expedia. It will completely ruin your reputation! The hotel is so old and run down i feel like I'm going back to the 30's! so old and run down! One night when we came back to the hotel, we saw sex service cards slipped into our room under the door! totally unacceptable. This hotel deserve no stars!"

"We had to move rooms twice because the rooms were dirty. The first room the carpets/floor hadn't been cleaned, there was crumbs of food all over the floor and on the chair within the room. We informed the front desk, who were actually very good, and were told it would be cleaned by the time we were back from a walk. It hadn't been cleaned some 5 hours later so they move us.
