"This was a lovely stay in a nice peaceful location and very easy to find. I would suggest it would be a stretch for 6 people but for a couple or family with 2-3 kids it would be perfect especially if the kids needed separate rooms. Hosts were great with very good communication throughout. Definitely would return again. Hosts were love"

"A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. "

"Clean, comfortable, convenient, safe. Beautiful and relaxed setting just minutes from remote parking for the bus into York if you're interested. an easy drive to Haxby - which had everything we needed as far a shopping and restaurants. Eggs, milk, bread, butter, juice - all made for a perfect light supper when we arrived after a long day on the road. We were able to do some laundry. Enjoyed bird watching. Just a lovely stay overall and would definitely stay again "

"Had a relaxing three night stay in this lovely cottage. Plenty of space and very comfy beds. Nice size bathrooms although unfortunately the shower in the family bathroom was leaking down into the hallway so everyone had to use the ensuite shower. Not ideal but no fault of the owners. Immaculate accomodation with a very personal touch, a welcome hamper & even a basket of treats for out dog and a fenced area for the dog too. "The property fulfilled our family's needs. Private, quiet and plenty of parking. Although we were on a farm there were no farm smells, only the cattle mooing in the morning, but did not disturbed. The open aspect to the rear of the property gave us views over the fields. The location was perfect for the park and ride into York and the shopping outlet on the A19. The property its self was well equipped, clean, good showers and spacious. Would be confident to recommend to friends and family."

"The provided facilities, in terms of the fridge shack etc could do with updating and the site is a lot smaller than anticipated so we were greatful of only one other pod being occupied. Had there have been others there, there wouldn’t have been much privacy at all. Coat hooks being on the same wall as the plugs/shelf etc meant coats hanging over the kettle , but the pod itself was lovely and clean, amazingly comfortable bed. The toilets and shower blocks were very well kept and clean. Perfect...
