"The hotel appears to have been recently updated inside each room. The decor is pleasing. Outside still needs a little sprucing up, but there is a pleasant pool area to sit even if you don’t want to swim. However street traffic is noisy. Staff are very friendly. Rickey’s restaurant across the street is a sports bar. We ate dinner there. Service was excellent. Ultimate nachos were so good. Prices were very reasonable. "These hotels are old Florida and in need of small repairs BUT, they are very clean, staff is very responsive, the hotel was right on the beach and boardwalk, and all rooms had large TV's with everything you could possibly want to watch. There were reasonable bike rentals and a free breakfast. Great for a family vacation....definitely would go back!!"
