"Had a lovely stay over the bank holiday weekend. The evening service from the waitress and two waiters were outstanding, and it was a pleasure to see a group of people who genuinely love their job and were happy. However, when booking breakfast for the last morning of our stay the girl at the desk was less than friendly and my partner said he felt he couldn't speak to her about things and she seemed annoyed. "This hotel is going extensive refurbishment. Could not have dinner as the kitchen was being re-eqiped. Excellent public rooms. Friendly staff who did everything they could to make your stay enjoyable. Hotel has an older part and a more modern extension. I had a large double room in the original part of the hotel. No central hearing but there was an efficient stand alone heater. Bathroom had a radiator. The room was bright and airy and was well furnished. No traffic noise. Would definitely stay again."
