Pros: Cheap, clean, modern (ish), friendly staff. I should really emphasise the above, as it was c£70-£100 for two nights.Despite below I would stay again but would bring own pillow. Cons: 1. Pillows are really poor and i've never once moaned about a pillow! I absolutely could not sleep properly with the pillows provided. Wafer thin, i should have checked what they were because they certainly didnt feel like a pillow. 2. Room is very small, which is fine, but you do expect a wardrobe at least, they have a strange hanger, which at first looks querky, but you cannot hang trousers and can only hang two shirts at most. Very bizarre. I didn't mind the lack of a hospitality tray but should have a small wardrobe at least, although there was no space for it, it was that small, but in my opinion, it is a basic necessity of a room. 3. Parking, this one is a little harsh, as i found all the hotels i found did not have their own designated free of charge parking. However, right in front of the hotel on the road across it, there is parking on the left which you pay for via "yourparking space", i think it was called east gate parking or something, not the easiest to find as the yourparking space address, leads you to the wrong road, but if you continue on the road and take the first left, you'll see it on your left hand side. Probably easy to navigate to the hotel, once you spot the hotel, the road opposite is where the parking spot is. I paid £13 but for c48 hours.

Great location in the heart of the town centre, warm friendly, professional and efficient welcome. There are pleasant communal areas, yet there is no bar or restaurant; the only food and drink available is from vending machines. The rooms are very compact, yet are spotlessly clean, well maintained and a pleasant place to be, however, there is no space for a chair or desk. I booked a room with a window, yet, my room had only a window with obscured glass so I might as well had reserved a room without a window. The compact en-suite bathroom was also spotlessly clean and the shower was awesome. This is a value for money no fuss hotel which is highly recommended by me.

The bed was terrible, it was so hard i woken up every 15 minutes in pain. There was a raised lump in the middle of the mattress and very little padding elsewhere. The tv didnt work. I got another remote from the dest, but you csn only turn it on, not up, down, over to another channel or off (unless you pull the room key out and force it to turn off) i could only watch DaveJaVu at a very low volume. Yuck. HOWEVER, the staff were great, the shower had excellent pressure, Wifi was good, it was so quiet, the aircon worked and everything was very clean..inspite of the very dodgy mattress and the broken Tv i would stay here again.

Not too bad for the price
This is a budget hotel downtown. Check in was easy. We had a handicap room on the 1st floor that overlooks the church behind. Lots of room. The sink did not have cold water. The toilet took about 1/2 hr to refill the tank. You could not control the temperature above 21. All the usb ports did not work. The bed was very hard and the two pillows that came with it were flat. One bed sheet was not enough. Room was quiet but could here doors closing.

Cheap accommodation in the centre of Ipswich. You get what you pay for. The rooms are tiny, but modern and clean. When we arrived, there was no one on the front desk, and we had to wait for someone to appear. When someone finally did, he wasn't particularly welcoming or friendly and didn't apologise for the wait, but was otherwise fine. Because the rooms are so small, we probably wouldn't stay for more than one night.

A great deal and a great location
Everything was good and exactly what we wanted - for the price you cannot expect room service. We loved the location which gave us easy access to the facilities we needed and the staff directed us to the ramp of a 24hour carpark with CCTV 20m from the front door.
