"It is a good place to stay with good common áreas although some are in need of TLC. Staff is very nice and helpful. Plan to venture out for dinner, after all, you are staying here for the proximity to the romantic area and the malecón. Rooms are good and clean. Overall a good place to stay."

"It’s a bit overpriced for what it is in my opinion although I have stayed here twice. They nickle and dime you on the most random things. The pool and the Mantamar access make it ideal. The whole “I’m your concierge” thing at check-in is really just a time share attempt- that’s the biggest turn off. Don’t tell me you are a concierge, just tell me you are a time share salesperson. They almost force you to go through the speech unless you stand firm. There is no real concierge here. "

"Mercedes is an awesome employee. We bought eggs and each morning she would cook whatever we wanted in addition to the provided fruit and toast. She was very personable. Chuey was great as well. As all the other reviewers mentioned, it’s definitely a climb, but if you want the fantastic view it’s worth it."
