"A great place to stay in Central Oxford for a weekend, plus we needed to drop off luggage early and the contact was very helpful. Note that the hotel is unstaffed for large parts of the time, also being central it was quite noisy at night, but very cosy and clean. "

"When we arrived we had a lovely warm welcome by Pam. Pam showed us our room we were staying in which was on the ground floor as I have difficulty with walking. The room was lovely and clean and comfortable. It is close to great restaurants and pubs and shopping. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast and great service. "Quirky, slightly chaotic DIY guest house converted from an Edwardian pub. Once we got used to the self-service breakfast in the communal dining room, we found it a really comfortable stay. "The property was somewhat quirky, but in the ideal location to stay over while visiting the area for motocross. The owners were friendly and welcoming on arrival and at breakfast. One of the only things I can really pick a fault with is there was a really strong stale smoke smell in the bathroom which did hit you when opening the bathroom door, so could do with a freshen up and maybe an air freshener in there. "We loved how reasonable the place was, and how close it was to the airport. However, the mattress was pretty cheap, the shower in room number four was clogged and began to overflow pretty soon after beginning the shower. Finally, a shuttle one-way cost 42 pounds which seems unreasonable for a 10 minute drive. Taxis were cheaper but they were still 30 pounds. If you don’t have a lot of luggage, you can take the subway and it’s not too bad of a walk. "

Holiday Inn Express London Heathrow T4 by IHG

"This hotel is fantastic! Very clean spacious rooms. Comfortable beds nice big walk in shower. Being right at the airport terminal is a bonus. No shuttle required in the morning to catch your flight. The underground to get you into London and the bus station is in walking distance and very easy to access and figure out. The breakfast you get is the best I have ever had at a Holiday Inn Express. North American holiday Inn Express should all have this much selection. So many hot and cold food choices. Gilbert and his team do a fantastic job looking after guests. Way to go Gilbert! The fish and chips in the sister hotel restaurant are amazing. I would recommend trying them! Overall I would stay here again next time I am in the UK and recommend this hotel to all Canadians and Americans travelling to the UK. "

Holiday Inn London Heathrow - Bath Road by IHG

"We stayed here the day before we had to leave from Heathrow airport. There is nothing much around the area of the hotel. So once you check in you are "stuck" in the hotel. The hotel itself is nice and has a nice bar and restaurant. The breakfast was also good."
