The only negative was when i asked for an hour extension for check out, from 11 to 12, the concierge would not guarantee it. "Smart, modern, clean, though a very compact hotel which just about ticks all the boxes as "4 star" although of course a little limited in terms of areas to hang out for long. Nevertheless, some of the more blasé reviews underestimate what £150 or so a night gets you elsewhere in central London. Lovely rooms, great views, and very good check in experience. This will be our new go-to hotel when we need to be this side of London for a night."

"Stayed over Christmas, second time here. Honestly it's one of my favourite places to stay. It's a little bit outside of the usual tourist city places so it's a little quieter, especially on the weekends. But it's within walking distance to spots like Spitalfields market, brick lane and a 30 min walk to Borough market. You have at least 4 grocery shops within a 5 min walking distance - sainsbury's (two of them), amazon fresh and a nisalocal to get all your shopping needs as well as a bunch of food options around the area. there is a cafe in the lobby which I did not fully utilize but seemed to be quite popular. One of the main reasons I stayed here was because I knew that over Christmas most places would not be open so wanted a place where I can make food and stay in for the day which is exactly what I did. Christmas pasta bake and movies was just such a comfy vibe for the day. "
