"The area surrounding the property was a little more industrial than I expected, so no knock on the hotel but definitely FYI. The property was under some sort of construction. I don’t blame the property, but I do think there’s available technology to note that on Expedia during booking. I had to pay an extra fee upon arrival for having two kids share a bed, even though during booking I had to specify their ages and was only offered rooms with two beds. "We loved our stay in this ryokan, in a traditional Japanese style but nice to see it is being run by young people! We arrived early, so we were able to use their free bikes for a lovely ride around the whole island. Next, we relaxed in the private hot bath spa.
