"My son and I have stayed at the Ayres Hotel Carlsbad several times. When my son was very young, we stayed there when we were visiting Legoland. Now that my son is 10, we stay there because he has ice hockey games in Carlsbad. We bring our dog because the fee for her is really reasonable. The hot breakfast is the best I've found so far!
