We visit the area frequently and prefer cooking and relaxing in a casual environment instead of limiting ourselves to fast food, hotel room mini fridges and sparce breakfast buffets. "Property was great, hot tub, fire pit. Loved Blowing Rock, Boone, the Biltmore and Grandather Mountain.The communication with the rental company during and after the Hurricane was awesome. They answered every question and checked the property and were very responsive."

"My wife and I had a great stay at The Post House, easy access to Main Street where most all the shops and restaurants are located, just one block away. There were a couple of small things that would have made our stay even better. Better lighting in the kitchen and room darkening shades for the bedroom windows, but very minor issues our stay was great and we have already booked for the fall next year."

"The hosts did a fantastic job and had all of the needed amenities and everything was very clean and organized. It is a private cottage behind their main house but it is like you have your own place which we really needed for the weekend! She even went above and beyond and provided a bottle of wine along with a variety of keurig coffee flavors which were really good. She also provided some snacks too! We loved the Christmas decor which really helped us get into the Christmas spirit! She thought...
