We visit the area frequently and prefer cooking and relaxing in a casual environment instead of limiting ourselves to fast food, hotel room mini fridges and sparce breakfast buffets. "We stayed here to celebrate Christmas Eve and Day with my parents. The check in time was perfect as neither of us prefer to drive in the dark. The cabin was decorated for Christmas The beds were incredibly comfortable. We brought wood but the fire pit had plenty of wood. "We fell in love with this lake house. It was the perfect place for our family to enjoy Lake James and the surrounding areas. The accommodations were amazing and the amenities were well thought out. "Where to begin ~ We really enjoyed our time spent in this lovely cottage. The hosts were a pleasure to communicate with and we enjoyed meeting the caretaker. She is just lovely.
