"Great property for family. It had everything we needed and the log fire was fantastic on a cold winter Dunedin day! Host was very helpful and allowed us to check in early. Spa pool was advertised but not at the property although not really an issue for us. One or two maintenance tasks needed attending to but not at all detracting from the property. Location was great if you have a vehicle. Beautiful view of the ocean."

"We enjoyed our stay here, a lovely spot right on the side of the river. The bach was well equipped, with everything we needed for a comfy stay. The only shame is that you can't see the view when the deck doors are closed, but we were able to get out on the deck even in the chilly weather! Good stack of firewood which was fantastic."

"Really enjoyed the location. Was able to take long walks on the beach while still being close to Dunedin for access to its restaurants. House was large enough for multiple adults and had both washer and dryer which was convenient as this was a stop in a longer trip. We really appreciated the electronic keypad entry since we had people coming and going on different schedules. Would definitely stay hear again if I was ever in the area."

Really appreciated the wood burner which kept the living space cosy on the cold winter mornings and evenings. Nadine and Jake were very responsive to queries and fixing the dripping tap. "We booked the house for my birthday. My plan was to relax and have some quality time with family and our two dogs. The location is spectacular and the house was warm, clean and very thoughtfully appointed. The amenities were great, from stove to coffee machine. The one and only disappointment was the tv, but who needs a tv being in such a beautiful spot! A huge bonus point I want to give for friendliness, responsiveness and great communication with the owner/manager! Well done! We’ll be back!"
