"Wonderful home. Beautiful view. Super quiet. Loved that we could bring our dog. Would definitely recommend. It is a guest house connected to another home but no one but us was there. If privacy is important just check the other side of home will be vacant during your stay. "

"We had a wonderful time with our whole family over Thanksgiving. The house was spacious with plenty of room to both spend time together and spread out to get a little space. The host was really responsive and helpful. The house did feel a little bit like a maze to start with but was okay once you got use to it."

Just incredible design! The cedar beams give Cedar Ridge its name. And provide a perfect frame for the incredible views of the property's woods and views of the big lake.

The grounds were were beautifully taken care of and provided us hours of pleasure as we watched the sun rises and sun sets every day over the water. Some games were provided if desired. T.V. was available. The beach area was fun to walk along and explore. We enjoyed a campfire in the campfire ring and wood was provided. The hostess was always responsive to our questions in a very helpful and timely manner. "

It's a good place to stay

"This is a good hotel. It's a bit dated, but you can tell that they are updating the things that matter. The room was very clean, had no smells, which is great, and was toasty warm. The rules for having my dog with me in the room were fair and I believe they made the hotel a nicer place to stay. It was an easy walk to the main street of Washburn and we could easily explore on foot from the hotel. We were warmly welcomed and I would stay here again. The photos of the rooms shown online are accurate. "
