There was a misunderstanding about something, and I could not reach the owners until the second day I was there in the mid afternoon. That was unfortunate. "The hosts were very easy to work with, and the house was in great condition. Very nicely decorated, modern, had all the necessities. The neighborhood--the street and nearby commercial district--are definitely in transition and not ideal for walking. We felt uncomfortable taking our dogs out, even as people who have lived in NYC/Chicago during the 80s :-). While it might feel different to people who are from the area or live on the street, it's a hard place to land for visitors."

"This house was good for our 2 small families. There was plenty of room and entertainment for the kids. Plenty of outdoor space with the 2 decks and dock with a great lake view. The kitchen was moderately stocked, it had most of the essentials, but missing some things like lager bowls for mixing or salad, cutting board, pasta strainer. The beds were ok, the linens weren’t the most comfortable and would honestly recommend bringing your own. But overall, our stay was good. "

"There were 8 family members that stayed here as we traveled in for my daughter's wedding. The layout of the house was perfect and very roomy that allowed us to spread out and made getting ready on the wedding day a breeze. Upon arrival, the house was clean for the most part. The front porch could use a good cleaning. The stairs to the basement are very steep and the overhand is low. The first day, someone hit their head going down the stairs.
