"We spent one night here whilst touring around Switzerland. It’s a lovely hotel on the side of a hill overlooking Lake Walensee. Hotel is in good order. As with virtually all hotels in Switzerland, there is no air conditioning so it is recommended to take a mini fan with you if visiting in the middle of summer. "

"We stayed in the economy room and it was quite uncomfortable, the mattress was a nightmare, the bed was very squeaky, the pillows were awful. We woke up both days with back pain. Additionally, the heating was too high so it was too warm for us and we were told it was a central heating so there was nothing we could do. When we opened the window the room got full of mosquitoes. "

Direkt aus der Wohnung konnten wir mit den Skiern zum Übungslift hinunterfahren und mit diesem auch alle anderen Lifte des Skigebietes erreichen. Das Skigebiet ist ideal für Familien mit Kindern, die erste Grundkenntnisse im Skifahren haben. Wir konnten super Schlitten fahren und die Kinder konnten gefahrlos im übersichtlichen Gelände frei rumtoben und im Tiefschnee buddeln. Die Sicht ins Rheintal, auf die Berge und Wälder ist...

"Amden was a beautiful, quaint and friendly introduction to Switzerland and a perfect jumping off point for visits to the two main Swiss cities of Zurich and Lucerne and just an hour to Liechtenstein. Great location."
