"We were working in the area, easy public transport into centre asda literally 2minutes walk away, property was very clean and tidy and any questions were answered straight away . Ideal for what we needed, will definitely be staying again"

"Our stay here was okay I mean we’ve been to worse places but as we arrived we were met with a hole in the floor between our 2 single beds. Then as we were going to microwave our food the microwave had mouldy food inside of it. The manager & cleaners did offer us a different room but we were settled by the time we found the food so we just stayed in our room. "Lovely clean and nicely laid out property, beautifully decorated, very close to the promenade and local amenities. The front was in need of a bit of love to make it in-keeping with the inside of the house, and there was some noise from upstairs neighbours but otherwise a splendid stay."

"Property manager forgot to send code for key safe. Managed to get it indirectly by email but no easy contact was forthcoming thereafter. Street door lock cheap and worn. Next door to lobby broken and taped up. Lobby not been cleaned for weeks. Cheap lock on door to apartment. Security practically non existent. Six windows (2 in living room,2 in each bedroom) screwed shut.Not safe , awaiting replacement. Only window that opened for ventilation in kitchen.If open possible to step directly into...

"We noticed on arrival a very bad smell in the kitchen - though the kitchen was not visibly dirty. We tried but did not manage to locate the source of the smell - but it put us off from cooking at the property. I did contact the property manager about this when we left. The rooms and accommodation were spacious and perfect for our stay visiting family. There was quite a lot of early morning foot fall noise from Above which woke everyone. And I dont think it was obvious from the booking site...

Surrounded by old historical buildings but close to bars and restaurants and a short walk across the river to the Glasshouse.Easy access to station and metro.Clean and tidy with thoughtful touches and a friendly host who was easy to communicate with.The kitchen could do with some more cooking utensils, but other than that it was a lovely place to stay. "Everything was lovely, clean, well equiped and just as advertised. Full kitchen with all the equipment and even some supplies. Bath was clean and had all needed supplies. Beds were great, comphy. The only thing I want to draw attention to is accessibility. Not a criticism, but if one were disabled they would want to know: 2 steps down to kitchen, 3 steps more to bathroom, a full flight of steep steps outside down to the washer under the stairs"

"Terrific place for a quiet getaway, an close to the Metro for easy transportation within the city. Property manager Andrew was very friendly and very responsive to questions, and had lots of local knowledge. Highly recommended!"

"If you are going to Newcastle, just book this place. Its 5 min walk from the station and so central for the nightlife. Great pub underneath and food options everywhere. The apartment was clean and well laid out, the communication from Gary was spot on. Dont think, just book it."

"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. During our stay all else in...

Perfect stay at a great price

"Hotel was lovely. We had a one night stay there just after new year for a funeral. We were able to check in on time. We got a space at the rear of the building for parking and the room was very clean and tidy. Looked very modern and homely. We were based in the Carlton building across the road under the same hotel. Would stay again "

"Desk service was awesome. The room and areas were generally clean. Although the room was smaller than I expected, the overall experience was pretty good. The hotel was within walking distance of various entertainment areas. The area was safe and hotel has a nice cozy vibe with decent flashes of being contemporary. Certainly a place to stay for repeat visit "
