"Different. I mean that in the absolute best sense of the word. "Sarah is an incredible host! She was accommodating for our evening check in and helped arrange babysitting. Traveling with two toddlers isn't easy, but she was so helpful and made us feel right at home. I'll miss their comfortable bed and luxurious bedding. The kids loved bubble baths in the tub. The Tilling Suite was perfect for our family of 4 and a friend who joined. "

"3 of us stayed in the 3 single bed family room on a room only basis the room was extremely clean with en suite shower room. The beds were very comfortable tea and coffee was supplied and when we needed more milk they bought us more. The room also had doors out to a little patio area overlooking a pool with fish and a lawn beyond."

"A beautiful property. Owner Carole was very welcoming. The room was spotless and the breakfast was excellent. Very large and comfortable bed. The owners own the pub down the road which serves good food with very generous portions."

"We had a wonderful stay in the Pavillion at Brunger House. The location is fantastic for Tenterden and other nearby spots (eg Chapel Down) and the cottage itself is superbly kitted out to a very high standard. Add to that the excellent hosts and oh so thoughtful little touches, and I’ve no hesitation in thoroughly recommending it to anyone looking for a fantastic self catering away break."

"Host Deb was friendly but this did not compensate for a room and house that smelt stale- a mix of dog and cigarette smoke. Keeping the windows open meant lots of noise from the busy road. Shower tray was blocked. Doesn't offer actual breakfast (as advertised) but was offered some toast. Generally poor experience."

"DO NOT BOOK. We turned up, having paid via Expedia, only to be told they don't actually have rooms to book. I don't know if this is a scam as the email confirmation said that there was no Front Desk so ring in advance to confirm booking... Lord alone knows who would be picking you up and taking you someplace else. "VMG Living ( previously Rhinos 5)- Beware! The hotels.com pictures give the impression of three bedrooms with pictures of three double rooms. However there are only two. The pictures do not reflect the cleanliness and the decor of the place AT ALL The booking fee does not show a £75 cleaning charge ( this is hidden in the small print). "We booked Mary's wonderful house for a weekend away in December for a catch up with old friends (12 of us in total). We had an amazing time and really recommend the house. It has lots of character from being an old pub called The Star and the rooms were really comfy with almost all of them having their own ensuite bathroom.
