"This is a lovely, spacious house, very comfortable and well-equipped. Our group had just completed the Kaikoura Coastal Walk, so it was great to be able to relax in style. The house was very easy to find, and check-in couldn't have been easier."

"After 8.30 pm arrival from the Interislander – the owner was very welcoming. Unit was comfortable, clean, quiet and good condition. It is just off SH1 so you have to be prepared for some road noise, but got a good nights sleep."

During the night the downstairs is cooler and cosy. It does lose one star however because the upstairs bedroom smells of smoke and the downstairs one isn't really suitable for a couple given the single bed blocks you easily getting in and out of bed and no bedside tables."

"Great spot just on the other side of Kaikoura about 3km’s pout of the city center. Kaikoura is a great little beach town with several seal colonies and easily seen earls sun bathing on the rocky shores."
