" I stayed but one night and loved the hotel and the staff. I expected an impersonal touristy type in and out, and I got local - neighbors walking over for food and drink at the Surf Shack. The staff - Steve, Christine (I think), Kristen, regular folk, cordial and engaging, were a delight. I'm already planning a return trip. "

"Absolutely beautiful property and room! We were in the Rajah room which was quite spacious and beautifully designed. The owner was very polite and responsive to our texts and questions. We had a simple continental breakfast that was included, and the highlight were the different teas that they make in house. It was fun to see the interiors of the older home from the 1600s, and appreciated the explanation of the history of the home from Patrick. "

"4 adults, 3 children very comfortable staying at this house. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio and relaxing in the morning and afternoons. Convenient location. No issues. "

"Super unique! Very walkable to all the fun stuff downtown. I give this place 4.5 stars. My only beef is its terribly expensive for a 1 bathroom and the living room is cool, but uncomfortable. Great for insta pics and all that, but if you think you're gonna unwind an watch a scary movie its not gonna happen. The couches are more decorative. Big kitchen with everything that you'd have at home. And whoever was the decorator...the detail is impeccable. "

"The view was amazing! The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, even though our forks were dirty at dinner the staff immediately replaced them. They had fun activities at night in the bar area, although I would suggest allowing the hotel guests to be admitted for free since they have already paid for rooms and it was open to the public which is rare. The outside of the building may look old but the inside is very nice and kept clean. Even though the hallways did smell like an old folks home at least the rooms didn’t. The shower was amazing! Great water pressure and got very hot. Overall it was an excellent stay and we had a fun time. "
